The NEXON BeastShock 8.5 J kit is designed for building an electric fence system that can operate independently from the mains. The package includes a BeastShock Industrial energizer, an 80 W NEXON solar panel with support and a 12 V / 30 Ah battery, making it suitable for locations without permanent access to mains electricity.

The energizer can be used for containing domestic animals as well as in areas exposed to wild animals. The BeastShock Industrial monitors the condition of the system and battery voltage, while LED indicators signal situations that may require inspection of the installation.

A drop in fence voltage may, for example, be caused by damage to the conductor or excessive contact with vegetation, helping the user identify situations where the fence should be checked.

Under suitable sunlight and operating conditions, the combination of the 80 W solar panel and 12 V / 30 Ah battery is suitable for autonomous operation during the grazing season from April to October.
