The NEXON frost protection cable with thermostat is designed to help prevent water pipes from freezing during cold weather. By maintaining suitable pipe temperatures, it helps reduce the risk of blocked, cracked or damaged pipework.
It is suitable for domestic, agricultural and commercial applications where installation is compatible with the manufacturer’s instructions. Several cable lengths are available for different pipe runs and installation requirements.
The integrated thermostat controls the cable automatically, so it operates only when the surrounding temperature requires frost protection.
Automatic thermostatic operation
The cable switches on automatically when the temperature falls below 3 °C and switches off when the temperature rises above 13 °C.
This automatic control helps avoid unnecessary energy use while maintaining protection during periods when freezing conditions are likely.

Installation
The cable is installed along the pipe that requires frost protection and may be secured using suitable plastic cable ties. Installation must follow the manufacturer’s instructions and the requirements of the pipe system.
Do not overlap, cross, shorten or modify the cable unless this is explicitly permitted in the manufacturer’s instructions.
