The NEXON HeavyShock 6th Gen is a 2.5 J electric fence energizer designed for operation from a 12 V battery, 230 V mains supply or a solar-powered system. Its integrated solar charge controller supports solar panels up to 50 W and simplifies the installation of a solar electric fence system.

The energizer features overvoltage protection, deep-discharge battery protection and automatic power adaptation. The system optimises energy consumption and can automatically increase power when fence conditions change, for example when the conductor comes into contact with grass or branches.

Pulse power and pulse speed can both be adjusted to suit the fence and site conditions. An LED indicator provides information about battery status and solar charging.

LED indications

• Fast flashing, approx. 100 ms: battery voltage is below 11 V or an overvoltage above 17 V is detected when using an external solar panel

• Slow flashing, approx. 500 ms: the solar panel is charging the battery

• Continuously illuminated with short interruptions: the battery is charged and the solar panel is maintaining the optimum charge level
