NEXON Farmer wireless tester for electric fences 1–10kV. Accurate voltage measurement, LED display, quick fault detection and safe operation.

NEXON Farmer wireless electric fence tester, 1–10 kV

The NEXON Farmer wireless tester is designed for quickly checking voltage levels in electric fence systems. It is suitable for convenient field inspections, with the detected voltage level indicated by an LED.

Electric fence systems operate with high-voltage pulses, so they should be checked using a device specifically designed for this type of installation. The NEXON Farmer tester has a measuring range of 1–10 kV.

It can be used to check electric fence operation, locate voltage losses and identify problems such as broken polywire or wire and excessive vegetation contact. It can also be used when checking the grounding system.

Recommended use

The NEXON Farmer tester is suitable for routine electric fence inspections and for quickly identifying common faults in the installation.

  • Checking electric fence operation

  • Checking voltage at different points along the fence

  • Identifying sections with reduced voltage

  • Locating broken polywire or wire

  • Detecting voltage losses caused by vegetation

  • Checking the grounding system

In many electric fence applications, approximately 6–8 kV or higher indicates a high voltage level in the system. The voltage actually required may vary depending on the animal species, fence length and configuration, vegetation and overall installation condition.

Important

Do not check an electric fence by directly touching the conductor, and do not use a conventional multimeter unless it is designed for the high-voltage pulses generated by electric fence systems.

This tester indicates voltage levels using an LED and should not be confused with a digital electric fence tester that displays an exact numerical voltage reading.
