The NEXON power cable with light sensor is designed for electric fence energizers that only need to operate at night. The integrated light sensor detects decreasing ambient light and allows the energizer to operate after dark, while keeping it switched off during daylight hours.

Night-only operation can reduce battery consumption and, when used with a solar system, can provide more time for the battery to recharge during the day. The cable is available with either a Jack or XLR connector, and the correct version must be selected according to the electric fence energizer model.
